Occasionally you see this kind of discount on running shoes. At times you’ll find a great bargain. At other times, though, the shoes are cheap for a reason.
That’s why I approached this deal with some scepticism. Until I started checking out the detailed reviews, that is.
Take the K-Swiss Blade Light Run II, for example. When Runner’s World ran the shoes through their paces, this was the conclusion of the testers (Emile Davis, Andy Kirkpatrick and Richard Rael):
I like the light weight of the shoe. When I run in these, I really feel light on my feet. The included laces are great by preventing lace slippage. No need to double knot or buy a different lacing system.
Great shoe. From being comfortable when putting the shoe on for the first time to the seam-free tech, the comfy ride, and the slick look, this shoe has it all.
The first time I put them on, they felt like I was putting on socks. Perfect fit with great comfort in the toe box and heel support.
Not bad for a little under 30 quid…
